Leicester were knocked out of the Carabao Cup third round stage after Christian Fuchs' own goal was added to by Eddie Nketiah on the stroke of full time to secure Arsenal a 2-0 win on Wednesday evening.

It's either Lincoln City or Liverpool up next for the Gunners. So, well, Liverpool.

Here are your player ratings for Leicester vs Arsenal.

Leicester Player Ratings

1. Goalkeeper & Defenders

Danny Ward (GK) - 6/10 - Made a stunning diving save early on to prevent Arsenal taking a swift lead. Could do nothing about the goal, but did gift Nketiah possession that wasn't pounced upon.Daniel Amartey (CB) - 5/10 - Was very lucky to not give a penalty away in the first half, but also struggled with the direct running of nelson.Wes Morgan (CB) - 6/10 - Kept Nketiah at bay throughout, showing the value of experience. That said, his pace was an issue and Saka had joy getting beyond the backline. Made a superb goal-line clearance. Christian Fuchs (CB) - 5/10 - Scored the own goal but could do nothing about it as Pepe's shot crashed off the post and then onto his feet.

2. Midfielders

Marc Albrighton (RWB) - 6/10 - Put in a shift as a makeshift wing-back, but was found defending more than he was adding layers to the attack.Hamza Choudhury (CM) - 6/10 - Solid, if unassuming. Was the more defensive of the midfield pair but pushed forward after the Foxes fell behind.Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (CM) - 6/10 - Looked nervy in midfield as the fame wore on, giving away a few needless fouls.Luke Thomas (LWB) - 6/10 - Did well in the first period against Pepe. Stood his ground well against the Ivorian and put in a decent shift.

3. Forwards

Demarai Gray (RW) - 5/10 - Looked off the pace with a few poor efforts at goal and unsuccessful dribbling. Didn't offer Leicester much aside from pace in behind.Kelechi Iheanacho (ST) - 5/10 - Got in behind the back line on a couple of occasions but came unstuck against a solid display from Luiz.James Maddison (LW) - 7/10 - Tried to pull the strings in forward areas after coming in from the left wing. Was unfortunate to see a fine effort bounce off the post in the first half.

4. Substitutes

Dennis Praet - 7/10

Ayoze Perez - 4/10

Arsenal Player Ratings

5. Goalkeeper & Defenders

Bernd Leno (GK) - 7/10 - Was rarely tested, but did well to collect possession when crosses were delivered in from wide areas.Rob Holding (CB) - 5/10 - Had a few shaky moments. Not at his best.

David Luiz (CB) - 8/10 - A confident and commanding display in the heart of defence from Luiz, who produced a few trademark long passes to put his side on the front foot. Man of the match.Sead Kolasinac (CB) - 6/10 - Much improved from the weekend.

6. Midfielders & Wing-Backs

Ainsley Maitland-Niles (RWB) - 5/10 - Looked uncomfortable down (his normally favoured) right hand side, unable to find Pepe with any passes of note. Got caught out of position on a few occasions. Mohamed Elneny (CM) - 7/10 - Showed willingness to close down the ball and was composed in possession. Joe Willock (CM) - 5/10 - Improved in the second half but struggled to impose himself on the game overall. Bukayo Saka (LWB) - 7/10 - One of Arsenal's better players on the night. Was given the freedom to drift infield and offer a creative outlet. Should have been awarded a penalty in the first half.

7. Forwards

Nicolas Pepe (RW) - 5/10 - Mostly anonymous down the right hand side with much of Arsenal's play coming down the left. When he had possession he was too slow to impact the play. Did force the own goal, however.Eddie Nketiah (ST) - 5/10 - Starved of service and struggled against the imposing frame of Wes Morgan.Reiss Nelson (LW) - 7/10 - Was lively throughout but is clearly lacking match sharpness with a few wayward touches. Still, showed good endeavour.

8. Substitutes

Willian - 6/10

Dani Ceballos - 6/10

Hector Bellerin - N/A
