Jacqueline Jossa has admitted that 2020 has been a "mega challenge" for her.

The former EastEnders actress took to Instagram on Monday evening to empathise with other parents who have been struggling during the Covid-19 pandemic and juggling work with childcare. Jacqueline, who has five-year-old Ella and Mia, two, with her husband Dan Osborne, told her followers that while this year has been difficult, she still feels blessed.

"2020 continues to be a mega challenge for us mums out there," she wrote. "I've struggled being a full-time working mum and although I wouldn't have it any other way, homeschooling Ella, keeping Mia engaged and trying to keep up my own working routine has been tough."

Jacqueline went on to show her support for the social networking app Peanut, which brings like-minded women together to share support and advice.

"It gives mums like myself an opportunity to talk, ask questions, and get support which is key during a time where we're all having to adapt a lot more than usual...," she said.

"Sometimes you just need some kind words of encouragement from someone that's in your boat to make you feel like you've got this!"

On Sunday, Jacqueline hit back at cruel online trolls for posting messages about her and her family. Sharing a series of happy photographs of herself posing with Ella and Mia, the 27-year-old I'm a Celebrity... winner vowed to try and ignore the negativity.

"You are truly the only opinion that means anything to me. To the trolls and losers, you will never win. I have this gang," she wrote on Instagram. "Need to work on not letting what losers say to me out of jealously or spite or just pure troll vibes, get to me."
