Around 5.8 million “Contigo” children’s water bottles have been recalled due to a choking hazard.

Contigo Kids Cleanable water bottles, sold at Costco, Target, Walmart and other stores around the U.S. are being recalled because a silicone spout on the water bottle may detach, posing a potential choking hazard for children, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced Tuesday.

“Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled water bottles, take them away from children and contact Contigo for inspection instructions and a free replacement lid,” the commission said in the recall.

There have been 149 reports of the spout detaching reported to Contigo, with 18 spouts found in children’s mouths.

Affected models sold between April 2018 and June 2019 come in three sizes: 13-ounce, 14-ounce and 20-ounce. Water bottles were priced from $9 to $24 and may have been sold in two- or three-packs.

Approximately 157,000 models were sold in Canada and around 28,000 of the now-recalled product sold in Mexico in addition to the 5.7 million in the U.S.
