For the gasoline purists, Ford provides a turbocharged 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter option which churns out 250 horses and reaches the 60 mph mark in 5.9 seconds. However, an all-wheel-drive powertrain is only available with the turbocharged engine.

The 2022 Ford Maverick's class-leading dimensions add to its road presence. It is 72.6 inches wide and 68.7 inches tall, which are both class-leading. Additionally, it also boasts a segment-longest wheelbase, at 121.1 inches.

Apart from its engine options, the Ford Maverick will also spoil its customers when it comes to design and customization options. The truck comes with 11 exterior color choices, along with a plethora of optional packages, multiple wheel design options, and varied pick-up box cover designs.

The first edition package is based on the Luxury Lariat package and comes with many additions to the standard model. Mirror caps, a black roof, a tonneau cover, and a moonroof are part of the additions that come with the first edition.
