Nebraska Department of Transportation seeking public information for electric vehicle charging network
The Nebraska Department of Transportation issued a request for information as it plans for a future electric vehicle charging network.
Research
The state is receiving approximately $6 million per year for the next five years for the EV network. The funds are from the 2021 Infrastructure Law.
Sign up for our NewslettersThe first year will focus on developing charging infrastructure on "alternative fuel corridors."
That includes Interstate 80 across the state, along with Nebraska Highway 31 and U.S. Highway 6.
NDOT will hold a virtual meeting here for potential applicants on Feb. 13.
