The coilovers don't affect the Titan's warranty, either.

Folks looking to take their Titan or Titan XD Crew Cab 4x4 pickups off-road, might be looking for a way to lift the trucks' suspension, and now Nissan offers a way to increase the ride height without voiding any part of the company's warranty. The adjustable coilovers raise the models by up to three inches (76.2 millimeters).

Nissan worked with Icon Vehicle Dynamics, not to be confused with the restomodders at Icon 4x4, to come up with its first-ever set of factory-authorized coilovers. The components are a complete bolt-on replacement with no additional cutting or drilling necessary. The automaker estimates that a dealer can install the parts in less than four hours.

"With the suspension lift kit's increased wheel travel and damping ability, ride quality should be enhanced both off-road and on," Billy Hayes, boss of Nissan North America's commercial vehicle and truck division, said in the new product's announcement.

The coilovers join an already expansive range of dealer-offered accessories for the Titan and Titan XD.  The components range from aesthetic enhancements like a polished exhaust tip and different wheel designs to more useful items like a rear bumper step and bed extender. LED light bars can also improve visibility when driving off-road. The Snow Plow Prep Package is a recent addition for buyers that intend to use the truck for pushing snow.

Nissan will eventually expand the Titan range by adding a V6 engine option to join the existing 5.6-liter V8 power. However, the won't discuss when the smaller powerplant will join the range. The additional mill will likely let Nissan offer a less expensive version of the pickup.
