Ohio Medical Marijuana Program expands mandatory product recall

The Ohio Medical Marijuana Control Program is expanding its mandatory product recall to include two additional products.

The program issued a patient communication to alert patients about the mandatory product recall update. The recall is being initiated by the MMCP due to product development using a non-compliant process, officials said.

The products included in the recall are Pineapple Express, Blue Boi Z7 and Afghani #1. The products were processed by One Orijin.

Anyone who purchased the products at any time should stop using it and return the product to the dispensary where it was purchased. Returned products will not count toward a patient's 90-day possession limit. For more information on returns, please contact the dispensary where the product was purchased.

There have been no reports of adverse reactions for this product, officials said.
