Troopers are asking for public's help to provide any information they have about a fatal hit-and-run.

A bicyclist was riding down Rainbow Lake Road near Bible Church Road in Spartanburg County when he was hit by a car around 8:48 p.m. Friday.

The car left the scene. The driver, who Greenville News reports was a 47-year-old man, died from his injuries.

The make and model of the suspected car are unknown, but troopers say it is white and has possible damage to its front and windshield.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
