Two downed trees block roads in Cary, Chapel Hill
Two trees are causing road blockages Monday morning in both Cary and Chapel Hill.
In Cary a large tree is blocking Spring Street and Dowell Drive.
A City of Cary worker said it will take around three to four hours to get the tree out of the road.
Drivers should avoid the area this morning until the tree is removed.
Another tree fell across Raleigh Road in Chapel Hill.
Raleigh Road is closed in both directions between Country Club Road and Greenwood Road because the tree is leaning across the entirety of the road.
The Chapel Hill Police Department is advising drivers, cyclists and pedestrians to avoid the area until crews can remove the tree.
