Wet-dry Fourth of July parade in Florence
Parade watchers in one town got soaked for fun today. It was part of the annual Florence wet-dry parade downtown. The parade starts without any water but at the halfway mark the drenching begins. The tradition started eight years ago when council members used ideas from other areas in Colorado and brought it to Florence. A fireworks show is planned at dusk at Florence High School.
