Genshin Impact Leak Reveals Weapon Banner for Version 3.0

Genshin Impact updates usually include two separate banner cycles, each of which includes different sets of limited characters and weapons. The game's limited weapon banner usually include two five-star and five four-star items.

Even though the second banner cycle for the ongoing Version 2.8 has not even arrived yet, recent Genshin Impact leaks have revealed more information about the limited weapons that should arrive in the next update. A new leak apparently reveals the two five-star weapons which are scheduled to appear on the first banner for Version 3.0.

Going by the game's usual update schedule, Genshin Impact update 3.0 should arrive at the end of August. The game's official social media accounts have already confirmed three new characters that will join the playable roster in the next update: Tighnari, Dori, and Collei. According to the leak, the first weapon banner will introduce the popular five-star sword Primordial Jade Cutter and a new bow named Hunter's path. The new bow will serve as the signature weapon for the new five-star character Tighnari.

According to previous leaks, Hunter's Path will have a 44-542 base damage with Crit Rate as its secondary stat which is limited to 44.10%. The weapon's passive increases elemental damage by 12-24%. Its effect also increases the Charged attack damage by 160-320% of the character's Elemental Mastery. The weapon will have perfect synergy with Tighnari since he has a unique Charged Attack mechanic similar to Ganyu who is one of the strongest DPS characters in Genshin Impact.

Tighnari is also expected to be a new DPS and the game's first five-star character with the Dendro Vision. All of Sumeru's characters seem to have great scaling with Elemental Mastery which could become one of the most important stats in the future. The brand-new Dendro element seems to have a supportive role due to its great synergy with almost every other element in Genshin Impact.

The Primordial Jade Cutter is a great sword for DPS, sub-DPS, and support characters due to its secondary stat which is Crit Rate. The weapon's passive increases the holder's HP by 20%, and it grants an Attack buff based on 1.2% of the character's HP. The sword is a great choice for one of the best four-star characters in the game, the Pyro user Bennett. The weapon is also a great fit for all versions of the main character.

Genshin Impact is available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
