The Xbox Series X console was widely available on Tuesday, with Best Buy, Walmart, and the Microsoft store all releasing more stock. However, as it has done since its release, the Xbox Series X console quickly sold out.

However, the Xbox Series X will likely be restocked at retailers soon, so there is still a chance to get the console for Christmas. Find out below how to give yourself the best chance of purchasing the new Microsoft console sometime soon.

Best Buy Xbox Series X Restock

Best Buy restocked the Xbox Series X on Tuesday but it quickly sold out, after the website face overcrowding problems. Best Buy announced the restock on Monday, alerting shoppers a day ahead, unlike many retailers that have been releasing the next-gen consoles with little to no warning.

Walmart Xbox Series X Restock

Walmart released more Xbox Series X stock online yesterday, with little warning. Gamers had been expecting more stock to be released on December 21 or December 28 based on rumors, so yesterday's drop was a surprise.

Tuesday's restock was the first time in a while that Walmart had made the Xbox Series X console available online; it was previously available in-store only. However, Walmart is expected to be selling the consoles online for the foreseeable future.

Antonline Xbox Series X Restock

Antonline said on Twitter that it would be releasing more next-gen consoles, including the Xbox Series X, this month. Although no dates have been announced, Antonline may choose to warn gamers on Twitter ahead of time, so follow @antonlinecom for more updates.

Microsoft Store Xbox Series X Restock

The Microsoft Store released more Xbox Series X|S consoles yesterday and it quickly sold out. Microsoft has not said when it will be releasing more stock but the website says that the consoles will not be shipped until the end of December, so this may not the route to go down if you're hoping to get the new Xbox for Christmas Day.

Bergen Reach Xbox Series X Scam

Bergen Reach is a scam website that is fraudulently claiming to be selling the Xbox Series X and Series S at a discounted price. Twitter users have been sharing links to Bergen Reach claiming that it has the next-gen Xbox and PlayStation consoles in stock, but this website is fake.

Scam Detector believes that the website is being run by the people behind the Phar Sold scam which emerged a few days ago. Gamers are urged to avoid this website and others like it and to only purchase an Xbox Series X from a trusted retailer.

Generally, avoid any websites that seem suspicious and be wary of anyone claiming to sell an Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5 on social media.

Aside from the guide above, stay in the loop on the latest Xbox restock updates by following Twitter accounts, joining Discord channels, and contributing to Reddit threads. Finally, keep checking Newsweek as we update readers on the restock situations for both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
