After nearly a decade of ups and downs, HGTV's "Flip or Flop" has come to an end.

Renovation hosts and exes Christina Haack and Tarek El Moussa first revealed the news on Instagram March 10, announcing the show's last episode would air Thursday. "Flip or Flop," which first premiered in 2013, documented the duo as they turned eye-sore properties into stunning homes to later resell in Orange County, California.

Ahead of the series finale, El Moussa gave Haack a "special thank you" after launching the show together with a home video in 2010.

"A special thank you to @christinahaack for taking this journey with me. I think we did a pretty good job and I’m excited for what the future holds for both us and wish her nothing but the best," El Moussa wrote

When the co-hosts announced the series finale a week from the last episode Haack called it "the end of an era" on Instagram.

"I remember filming the pilot and thinking, 'wouldn’t this be crazy if is this actually made it to network TV?' And here we are, a decade later," Haack wrote.

El Moussa called the season's end "bittersweet" and praised the show's fans in his post: "This show would not have been possible without all of you following along, so THANK YOU! You guys have been with us through it all," he wrote on Instagram. "You watched me beat cancer, you’ve watched the babies grow up into the most amazing little humans, and everything in between."

Haack and El Moussa first began flipping houses after the 2008 real estate crash and as they expanded their resume they landed a spot in the HGTV lineup. In 2016, the couple divorced but still continued to host the series together. They share two children, Taylor, 11 and Brayden, 6.

After their divorce, Haack married and later divorced "Wheeler Dealers" host Ant Anstead, with who she shares 2-year-old son Hudson. Haack is now engaged to Josh Hall.

In October, El Moussa married "Selling Sunset" realtor Heather Rae Young. He is in remission from thyroid cancer, which was discovered in 2013 thanks to an eagle-eyed fan, who noticed a lump on his neck while watching the show. The registered nurse wrote the show's producers, urging El Moussa to get it checked out.

"So proud of you my love," Young wrote on El Moussa's finale announcement.

Haack can still be seen on HGTV for her solo show "Christina on the Coast" which premiered in 2019 and follows the personality's life and California home renovations.

"It’s been a wild ride to say the least!! I’m excited to see what the next 10 years has in store and can’t wait to share what I’ve been working on behind the scenes," Haack also wrote in her post.

El Moussa, who also has a solo HGTV show "Flipping 101," teased that he's not walking away from TV either, writing, "I’m not going anywhere and I can promise that you are going to love what comes next!"
