Ariana Grande has revealed in a new interview that she missed out on one pretty big classic high school experience. The singer shares that she never got to go to prom, but she doesn't feel like she missed out on anything.

Throughout her high school years Grande was on set for hit Nickelodeon series, Victorious. "We were having a lot of fun and I felt like I did have a high school experience with my castmates there, but it was just a little different," she tells Zane Lowe of Apple Music. "We had our school room and we had our tutor and we had each other."

Ariana opens up about how she relied on her castmates to feel like she was having somewhat of a typical high school experience. "We even had an episode that was prom-themed, so that felt prom-y except with the 'cut and the can we take that from the top?' Like from that, you know what I mean? But yeah, that was my prom. That's the closest I ever got to a prom, just so you know," shares Grande.

Regardless of not having the standard high school experience the pop star makes sure to let us know that her time spent playing Cat Valentine on Victorious, not only allowed her to feel like she was involved in normal high school activities, but was also enjoyable for her.

On Friday, Grande and Justin Bieber released what they called, "the prom song for everyone who can't go to prom now," with their collaboration "Stuck With U." The duet also helps raise money for the First Responders Children's Foundation.
