Madison Beer - Dreams Look Different in the Distance | Vevo LIFT You could hear it from the get-go. When Madison Beer's 'As She Pleases' EP dropped a couple years ago, it immediately started a sizable reaction around the world, placing the name of the new singer on the lips of instant fans and industry tastemakers. A mix of self-assurance, sensuality and terrific songcraft made for a pretty much irresistible package. Beer's moved quickly since then, too. That initial recognition for her indie project has blossomed into a deal with Epic Records, and back at the start of 2020, Beer showed her followers further growth with the elaborate sci-fi narrative of her very cool "Good In Goodbye" vid, as well as the sizzling lament of her "Selfish" vid, both of which she conceived and directed. When "Baby" started to clock mega views at the end of the summer, it was pretty easy to predict: this woman is going all the way.
