We bet she never thought “Legally Blonde” would be considered a horror movie.

Thank goodness Reese Witherspoon has a good sense of humor because the actress wasn't bothered in the slightest to see that her movie Legally Blonde made its way to the new Wednesday series on Netflix. Normally, it would be cool to have your film shown in another project, but this being a series about Wednesday Addams and all – yeah, it's definitely not meant as a compliment.

The actress herself took to TikTok (@reesewitherspoon) to address her most iconic role being featured in another project. But she seemed actually sort of tickled about being included. Take a look!

"That moment when you recognize the 'horror film' in Wednesday," she wrote in the video's onscreen caption. The clip shows Wednesday sitting down with potential love-interest Tyler to watch a movie, when suddenly those well known opening-lyrics play. "Suns up/a little after twelve..." Yep, it was the opening lines to "Perfect Day" by Hoku — aka, the song that basically kicks off Legally Blonde.

Wednesday (played by Jenna Ortega) looks horrified in the scene, but is it us or does Witherspoon, who is projected over the clip, look downright proud to be included.

"Give Elle a chance, Wednesday!" she wrote in the video's caption before adding the crying-laughing emoji.

The video has since been watched over 6.7 million times — and people in the comments section were just as excited. "The second I heard the first note I knew it was Legally Blonde," wrote one person. "I busted out laughing when I heard that first note, plus Enid is Wednesday’s Elle," another commenter explained. "Haha I used to watch Legally Blonde after watching horror movies too cheer myself up again, ironies!" a third person shared. "The way I screamed Legally Blonde the moment the music started," someone else admitted.

Shhh, don't tell Wednesday but we secretly love Legally Blonde too.
