‘Full Frontal’ Host Samantha Bee Says ICE Needs To Be Shut Down

Which Stars Are Protesting Golden Globes?

This Sunday, the Golden Globes will be held live in Hollywood. The Globes mark the official start of Awards season. This year Gal Gadot, Saoirse Ronan, Mary J. Blige and Allison Janney will be dressed in black at the Globes as part of a planned anti-harassment protest. All four performers voiced their support for a new initiative, Time's Up, that's aimed at supporting women who bring complaints. The Time's Up coalition was launched Monday, January 1st, 2018 with an open letter vowing support for women in the entertainment business and beyond. The organization will include a legal defense fund and will advocate for legislation combating workplace harassment. Time's Up also is backing the call for women to wear black, in solidarity with those who have been sexually harassed, at the Golden Globes ceremony.
