Black Doctors Read COVID Tweets: Part 2

In our second edition of Black Doctor’s Read COVID tweets, Dr. Reed Tuckson, co-founder of BCAC, former commissioner of Public Health, D.C., and former president, Charles R. Drew University of Medicine & Science, is reading some of the top #COVIDTweets. Whether you’re gearing up to go dancing or hitting the cookout circuit this summer, everyone is getting in line for the vaccine, according to ya’ll. The Black Coalition Against COVID (BCAC) was created to start a dialogue about COVID-19 and speak directly to a fundamental issue of distrust and misinformation related to healthcare in the Black community. Dedicated to helping save Black lives by providing trustworthy, science-based, information curated for the community, the BCAC is making it easy for the community to discover and engage with critical information they need to make informed decisions about vaccinations; and then to act.
