ROCKVILLE, MD — Krispy Kreme is offering a sweet gesture for health-care workers on the front lines of the new coronavirus battle.

On Mondays, the chain will be giving out a dozen of its original glazed doughnuts free to health-care workers, including its location in Rockville.

“Just go to a Krispy Kreme drive-thru, tell us what you need and show us your employer badge. That’s it,” the company said in a statement. “Pick up some free dozens on the way to work for you and your colleagues, or maybe a free dozen on your way home to a family after a long shift.”

The start of the promotion from Krispy Kreme aligns with National Doctors’ Day on Monday, March 30.

Krispy Kreme also noted that some of its shops may have adjusted hours of operations, but the majority are still operating and offering pick-up and to-go orders.

Krispy Kreme Rockville is at 14919 Shady Grove Rd., Rockville, MD 20850.
