A Mexican-themed restaurant is coming soon to Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport.

QDOBA Mexican Eats will open in August in the airport's Grand Hall, just outside of the TSA security checkpoint next to Chick fil-A.

It is the first Upstate restaurant location for the San Diego-based chain.

QDOBA is a fast-casual Mexican restaurant with more than 750 locations in the U.S. and Canada, serving burritos, tacos, burrito bowls, salads, quesadillas and nachos prepared by hand with fresh ingredients, in-house.

"We are excited to introduce another unique restaurant concept to our award-winning concessions program," said Scott Carr, vice president of commercial business and communications at GSP Airport.
