Have you ever wanted to know what the Cincinnati Zoo was like after hours? Now you can have a chance to see for yourself.

The zoo's Twiga Tented Camp Experience puts you right in the middle of the zoo with activities like animal encounters, behind-the-scenes tours and a stay in a safari tent with a catered breakfast.

Guests will get to start the night with drinks hors d’oeuvres and then take a zoo tour, including special encounters with some of the African Zoo animals.

The stay includes special encounters with the animals through games, hikes and animal demonstrations.

Guests get to stay in the newly expanded area of the giraffe habitat in tents, which gives you a close-up view of the giraffes when you wake up.

Guests will also get to enjoy a bonfire and catered breakfast including a waffle bar.

Available dates for the experience include June 1, June 21, July 27, August 17 and September 21. The experience runs from 6 p.m. until 9 a.m. the next day.

Participants must be 21 years or older for Twiga Adult Overnight. The zoo is also opening up similar experiences for families, scout programs and schools to reserve tents.
