When you think about tidying up your kitchen, doing the dishes, wiping the counter, and sweeping up crumbs likely comes to mind. Cleaning your oven on the other hand? Not so much. The task often gets neglected because it's so easy to just shut the oven door and hide the mess from your guests.

If you've ever tried to clean your oven with traditional soap and water, you likely can recall how challenging - and time-consuming - it is to get that tough grease off. And then, you're reminded why you opt out of cleaning your oven in the first place.

But thanks to this Cleverly video, the process is now so easy that you'll barely feel like you're doing any work. The best part? It only requires three ingredients you probably already have in your home: baking powder, water, and vinegar.

First, combine the ingredients in an oven-safe bowl until a paste is formed, and pour it over the dirtiest parts of the oven. Next, place the leftover mixture (still in the bowl) in the oven for 45 minutes at 100°C. In the meantime you can get to work on cleaning the rest of your home!

When the time is up, use a sponge to clean your oven as you normally would. You'll immediately notice how easily the grime comes off. No extra work needed! Next, you can tackle other rooms as part of your spring cleaning routine this year.
