Box Stores Are Limiting Sales to Only 'Essential' Items in Parts of the Country

Some parts of the country have told "essential" large retailers that they can only sell "essential" things. That means the toy section is off limits for the time being, home and garden too, among others. The thought is that additional traffic to non-essential areas compromises public health. In-store access is restricted either by closing aisles, or removing items from shelves. Importantly, these items can still be sold by these stores, just not in-person/in-store. This directive is far from nationwide, but the entire state of Vermont has enacted it. And some others are following suit. Springfield, MO and Summit County, CO have enacted their own versions.
