TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The Florida Department of Health announced Sunday night that two Floridians tested presumptive positive for coronavirus. One patient is in Hillsborough County, the other in Manatee County. FDH indicated the tests have been sent to the CDC for confirmation.

Gov. Ron DeSantis issued an executive order Sunday night declaring a Public Health Emergency in Florida, advising the Surgeon General, Dr. Scott Rivkees, to take the necessary steps to address the disease.

According to FDH, the patient in Manatee County had a travel history to Italy. The other patient had no known travel history to countries affected by the outbreak.
