Keep the Tennessee River Beautiful is hosting a river clean-up event in Decatur on Sunday, Oct. 11.

The event is being held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. rain or shine and volunteers are required to bring a mask, bottled water, closed-toed shoes and to wear pants, not shorts.

In order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, a volunteer limit has been set at 20 people. The limits are based on one person per bench in each boat. If you live in the same household, two volunteers may sit on the same bench. There will be five boats at the event.
