There is a new patient infected with coronavirus in Santa Clara County who has no known exposure to the sickness, the Washington Post reported Friday.
This would be the second case in the Bay Area and United States in which the patient has not traveled outside of the country or been in contact with another person known to have coronavirus.

The first such mystery case of the virus, known as community transmission, was reported Wednesday in a Solano County woman who is being treated at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento.
Santa Clara officials have confirmed that it has a new case of coronavirus -- the county's third infected person -- but have not yet provided details about the diagnosis.
The 65-year-old patient is receiving care at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, the Mercury News reported.
