Could percussive therapy help treat your chronic pain? The Doctors welcome chiropractor Dr. Jason Wersland who created the Theragun to share how this new approach to pain could help you find relief.

After a 2007 motorcycle accident, Dr. Wersland was dealing with soft tissue damage and couldn't find anything to help relieve his pain and was inspired to create the device. He says his goal was to create something that could give him a deep massage, after trying heat and cold therapies and finding no relief.

He says within the first 6 months of using the Theragun, he found relief and he felt much better. He says the device can help anyone address their tension, which many people often think of as pain. He says percussive therapy helps increase blood flow, decreases tension and helps to override someone's pain signals.

He says the Theragun is meant to be applied lightly and not used with intense pressure.
