US Pro Skier Kyle Smaine Dies In Avalanche in Japan
Kyle Smaine, a U.S. World Champion freestyler skier from Lake Tahoe, California, has died following an avalanche in Japan. Another skier from Austria also died, and several others were swept up in the avalanche. The 31-year-old professional athlete was in Japan on a marketing trip and had been posting about the visit on Instagram. Kyle’s wife, Jenna Dramise, confirmed his death in a touching post.
