The Ohio Department of Education authorized the organization to expand the meal distribution program to the Wilmington-Stroop and Kettering-Moraine branches.

A grant from the COVID-19 Response Fund of Greater Dayton will cover the food at the Brookville and Vandalia branches.

Fresh fruit and vegetables will be included along shelf-stable meals starting July 13 as part of a partnership with Premier Produce.

The produce boxes will include 22 pounds of produce, such as apples, oranges, potatoes, onions and celery.
