MADISON, CT — At Daniel Hand High School, Career and Technology Education program coordinator Dan Grenier has pressed the school's 3D printer into action to print the head piece for face shields.

Grenier has created more than 50 of the head pieces needed for the eye-covering shield, a piece of personal protective equipment needed by front line health care workers and others.

It's all part of the "Print Army," of which Hand is a part.
