MADISON, CT — The Madison Exchange 'Madison Salutes Our Heroes' flag display on the Town Green opening ceremony was Friday. The flags will be on display through Sept. 16. There will be 300 full-sized American flags displayed. Each one is individually dedicated to honor the victims of 9/11, the military, first responders, COVID-19 Heroes, Canine Heroes, Everyday Heroes, and to call attention to Child Abuse Prevention.

And the Green filled with the red, white, and blue will be the backdrop for the September 11th Remembrance Ceremony set for Sunday, Sept. 11 at 5 p.m. The event honors those men and women lost 21 years ago on 9/11. And pays tribute to those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for freedom.
