President of animal sanctuary in Tylertown goes missing on way to Louisiana

TYLERTOWN, Miss. (WLBT) - St Francis Animal Sanctuary is missing its leader.

Their president, 79-year-old Pamela Perez, was reported missing.

Mississippi Bureau of Investigation issued a Silver Alert in connection.

Perez was last seen leaving the sanctuary in Tylertown on Tuesday near Obed Magee Road, heading toward Mandeville, Louisiana.

She’s five-feet-four inches tall, 130 pounds with grey hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing grey sweatpants, a red t-shirt and a tan baseball hat.

She was last seen in her maroon 2013 Honda CRV, with license plate WHA7668.

MBI says she has a condition that may impair her judgment.
