The festivities for the royal wedding of Jordan's Princess Iman are underway! Yesterday, she attended a henna party ahead of this weekend's ceremonies, where she's set to wed her fiancé Jameel Alexander Thermiotis.

"So much love in one room! With friends and family at Iman’s Henna party yesterday," Queen Rania posted on Instagram with a slideshow of images from the celebration.

In attendance at the henna party were Princess Iman's future sister-in-law, Rajwa Al-Saif, who is engaged to Crown Prince Hussein, her aunts Princess Aisha bint Hussein and Princess Zein bint Hussein, and her grandmother Princess Muna al-Hussein. Henna parties are typically held a few days before Muslim weddings, and celebrated with all women.

For the occasion, Princess Iman wore an embroidered white silk chiffon dress by Jordanian-Palestinian designer Reema Dabhour, who launched her eponymous sustainable slow fashion brand in 2014. Dahbour wrote on the Jordanian Queen's Instagram post, "It’s a moment of pride where as a Jordanian fashion designer I am deeply honored to see our piece on Princess Iman on such a special day🤍 congratulations to our royal family!"

Notably, Iman also wore the same white and gold Bruce Oldfield belt embellished with pearls that Queen Rania wore on her wedding day in 1993.

Rania wore a Bruce Oldfield gown when she married King Abdullah at the Zahran Palace in Amman, Jordan.

Princess Iman is set to wed Jameel Alexander Thermiotis this Sunday, March 12. Not much is known about Thermiotis, but he was born into a Greek family in Caracas, Venezuela, and currently works at a New York City venture capital firm.

"The first time I held my baby girl, I knew my life would never be the same. In a week, she will be a bride. My precious Iman, I am so happy for you and so proud of everything that you are," Queen Rania shared earlier this week.
