Disney dog costumes: So your dog can be cute on Halloween - or any day

Dog owners, would you like to make this Halloween the Happiest Holiday on Earth? At least for you. Maybe not so much for your dog.

The Disney Store is selling pet costumes that put the “ah” in “ah heck, you guys have totally won Halloween with that Dumbo outfit.”

Imagine your dog as the Flying Elephant, complete with floppy ears, pachyderm legs and a cute little yellow hat.

Not a fan of impossibly aerodynamic mammals? Try the Buzz Lightyear Light-Up costume, with wings tipped by small lights. To infinity and beyond adorable.

Then there’s the Woody pet costume, designed after the “Toy Story” sheriff. It comes with the signature red-striped yellow shirt, kerchief and cowboy hat. Even if your dog refuses to keep on the hat (and few self-respecting canines will), the Woody vibe remains strong.

The eeriest Disney costume for dogs might be the Ewok from "Star Wars." Put the right small dog in there – a shih tzu or bichon frisé – and George Lucas might cast dogs in any Ewok spin-offs. (Though no one is suggesting such a spin-off is needed.)

While any of these costumes could make you and your dog serious Halloween players on Instagram, check out the Mickey Mouse outfit with the red shorts and iconic ears. And those stubby arms with the white gloves? That photo will lead to a tsunami of likes and complete social media domination, no matter how many moms post pics of their infants in pumpkin costumes.

Notably missing: a Pluto outfit. Would it be weird for a dog to dress up as a dog?

The costumes come in four sizes, small to extra large, and cost $22.95-$32.95.
