Athena is a 9-year-old Labrador retriever mix at Seattle Humane. She was found living outside in Texas, but her owners never came for her.
Athena was transferred to Seattle Humane in April and is now looking for a family here in the Pacific Northwest.
Staff at Seattle Humane say Athena is very mellow and laid back. She enjoys learning tricks for treats, playing catch with some success, and cuddling on the couch.
She is an older dog with osteoarthritis, but still gets around really well and enjoys brisk walks.
