Princess Beatrice has switched up her look yet again. The maid of honor at Princess Eugenie's wedding to Jack Brooksbank went with a beautiful yet surprisingly demure outfit today - with one twist. The older Princess of York chose to wear a gorgeous headpiece instead of the traditional hat or fascinator for the ceremony today.

Beatrice further accessorized the look with an silver bee pin - perhaps a nod to her nickname, Bea - as well as drop earrings and a silver bracelet. Besides attending to her younger sister today, the princess also gave a reading from The Great Gatsby, a book that has a special meaning to the couple.

This isn't the first time Beatrice has chosen atypical headwear. Back in May, she wore a similar headpiece by Stephen Jones to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's wedding. Her bespoke Roksanda Viola dress featured hand-dyed teal silk organza and billowing sheer sleeves.

Of course back in 2011 she wore one of the most iconic fascinators of all time. The elaborate Philip Treacy fascinator drew all sorts of comparisons from everything to an octopus to a pretzel.

The elaborate headwear, paired with a neutral beige Valentino Haute Couture, earned the princess much criticism from the fashion press, but she ultimately turned the moment into a positive. She later auctioned off the memorable hat to the tune of $131,000 for charity.
