Brittney's NBC 26 weather forecast

Wildfire smoke has pushed back into the area, lowering our air quality once again to where it is unhealthy for older adults, young children and anyone with heart or lung disease, please limit your time outdoors. We will see widespread smoke continuing this morning and should ease up a bit by tonight. Our next chance of significant rain returns on Friday with showers & thunderstorms. Chances for storms linger throughout the weekend and into next week. The heat & humidity will continue to rise and take over the area as we push into the weekend. 90s are possible into early next week. Dew points will all be rising into the upper 60s & lower 70s too, making for some uncomfortable days.
