Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Say Royal Family Had Concerns Over How Dark Archie’s Skin Would Be
On Sunday, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle opened up to Oprah Winfrey about the racism the Duchess of Sussex has faced. The couple, who share a son, Archie, and have another child on the way, revealed that when she was pregnant with her first child, there was ‘concern’ in the royal family about how dark the child’s skin color would be. While neither Harry nor Meghan would reveal who was having those conversations, on Monday, Oprah told Gayle King on ‘CBS This Morning’ that Harry told her it was not his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, or his grandfather, Prince Philip.
