Bobby Gene Larkin, of Harrisburg, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at his home. He was born on May 10, 1932 in Potomac, Illinois to George and Julia Larkin.

He is survived by wife, Peggy; and seven children: Gary (Patty) Larkin of Arkansas, Larry (Linda) Larkin of Indiana, Cheryl (Jeff) Birch of Missouri, Mike (Laura) Larkin of Oklahoma, and Terry (Stacey) Larkin of Indiana, Randee Larkin and Spencer (Amy) Larkin, both of Columbia; 16 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

Bob was an amazing man, who touched many hearts with his smile and genuine kindness. He loved making memories and laughing with everybody. He never met a stranger. He spent many years managing ranches in Oklahoma and farms in Parke County, Indiana. He drove a truck for several years. He enjoyed going to the kids’ and grandkids’ sporting events.

Visitations will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, October 16 at Harrisburg Christian Church, burial services to follow at Harrisburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Bob’s wishes were for memorial donations to be made to the Harrisburg Christian Church or Harrisburg Cemetery.
