Andrea Barrica created O.School, an online sexual education program that aims to help inform underrepresented communities. With daily live-streamed courses, O.School gives information without the stigma and shame that often encircles teenage sexual education.

"The more that we educate people, the more that we educate them about their bodies, the more conversations we can have, we can build a culture with more sexual respect," Barrica told NowThis.

Growing up in a Catholic, Filipino-American family, Barrica felt there was a lack of conversation and education surrounding sex during her formative years. With a background in technology and finance, Barrica was successful in creating a functioning online platform that hires educators with diverse backgrounds and perspectives.

More than 65 sex educators from all over the world teach courses through O.School, on topics ranging from consent and pleasure to overcoming sexual trauma. You can check out everything this online resource has to offer here.
