It’s being hosted by Workforce Solutions for the Heart of Texas and it’s happening at BASE at Extraco Events Center in Waco from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Managers with more than 60 local businesses are looking to fill more than 2,500 job openings and you can register in person on the day of the event, or online.

Discount supermarket chain Aldi aims to hire more than 20,000 workers including hundreds in Texas this year.

This comes as its network of stores grows and as the grocery retailer prepares for holiday shopping.

Aldi is adding jobs including cashiers, stockers and associates at its more than 2,100 stores and 25 warehouses in the U.S.

Georgio’s Bridal in Waco has two openings and it’s looking to hire very soon.

Georgio’s needs a general consultant to help brides make their wedding day dreams come true.

You’ll need experience in retail, customer service, or both.

JC Penny in the Killeen Mall just posted several new openings in the past few days.

The retailer needs an operations associate to help with stocking, customer service, and pricing and displaying signs for merchandise.

This is an early morning position requiring work prior to the store opening its doors for the day.

JC Penny also needs a Sephora beauty advisor and a cashier.

The Waitr food delivery service which recently launched an effort to bring 200 jobs to the Waco area is now expanding to Whitney.

In May, the company said it would be hiring delivery drivers in Waco.

It launched service in Hillsboro in the last few weeks.

And now Waitr is looking for contract delivery drivers in Whitney.

The City of Bellmead has several openings in public works, the police department, and community development.

Bellmead needs a water/wastewater maintenance worker, heavy equipment operator, a street maintenance worker.

The police force is hiring an officer, crime victim liaison, and detective specializing in violence against women.

The city also needs a court administrator and a code enforcement officer.

Who’s hiring 08.05.21

As part of its large Texas expansion, Dutch Bros Coffee is opening a location in Waco, and it is holding in person interviews Saturday.

They’re taking place from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. at the Waco Hilton downtown.

According to the company’s website the new location will be at 901 S. 6th Street and it will be opening soon, but no date has been announced.

Two locations will be opening soon in Temple too, one at 6520 W. Adams Ave. on August 13, and the opening of the location at 201 N. General Bruce hasn’t yet been announced.

Zuke’s Tea Bar is looking for people to fill full and part time positions.

Zuke’s is located inside Union Hall at 720 Franklin Avenue in Waco.

It offers flexible schedules, hourly pay plus tips, and a fun fast paced environment.

The Fort Hood Exchange has a job fair coming up Saturday, July 24 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

It’s happening in the Clear Creek PX Mall on post.

There are jobs in retail, food service and personal services like hair styling.

Teens 16 and up are eligible to apply along with military spouses, family members and retirees.

Slim Chickens is now hiring for its location at 5804 Bosque in Waco.

The Southern eatery just opened last month and still needs workers to fill its ranks.

The City of Waco is hosting a job fair next Wednesday, July 21.

The city currently has about 60 jobs posted including assistant golf pro, public health education specialist, zookeeper, IT technician, and police recruit just to name a few.

The job fair is happening at Heart of Texas Workforce Solutions at 1416 South New Road in Waco from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Grocery chain Aldi has job openings all across Central Texas.

Locations in Killeen and Temple need full-time assistant store managers, and the store on East Central Texas Expressway in Killeen also needs full and part time store associates.

The Aldi in Waco needs a full-time store associate as well.

And Waco Tours, which ranked as the fourth best overall experience in the U.S. on TripAdvisor this year, needs people to be a part of the team.

The business keeps growing amid increased tourism and needs river cruise captains, an equipment and fleet team leader, sales ambassadors, tour drivers and tour guides.

Killeen ISD has several job openings and you can apply at a job fair coming up next week.

It’s happening Thursday, July 15 at the Killeen Civic & Conference Center from 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.

The school district needs crossing guards, school nutrition workers, aides, custodians, bus drivers, and people to fill several other roles as well.

The district is also offering sign-on stipends of $500 for new hires.

Buc-ee’s in Temple is looking for workers to fill several positions as well.

The travel super stop needs an assistant food service manager, cashier cleaning attendant, loss prevention worker and off duty peace officer.

The City of Copperas Cove has multiple job openings across all departments.

Laborers are needed for solid waste, drainage, and parks and recreation.

The city also needs firefighters, a construction inspector, and wastewater and sewer operators.

And Heart of Texas Goodwill Industries needs workers at all levels of experience.

Now the organization needs an access center/call center team lead for its location in Killeen.

It’s almost spring and Jason’s Lawn Care in Waco has jobs available.

The Waco Public Library needs a librarian to focus on work with teens as well as adults.

And UT Health East Texas in Harker Heights needs a surgery scheduler, receptionist.
