El Salvador plans to build a 'Bitcoin City'
El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele just announced the country would be building a 'Bitcoin City' in 2022, near a volcano in the southeastern part of the country. The city will have commercial and residential areas, restaurants and an airport. The country was the first to accept bitcoin as legal tender.
