Former Top Hong Kong Adviser Chan on City's Prospects
Bernard Chan, a businessman who previously headed a group of former Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam's senior advisers, discusses the prospects for the city, which marks its 25th anniversary of Chinese rule. President Xi Jinping, in a speech, defended his crackdown on Hong Kong's pro-democracy movement and said the city should focus on its economic development. His remarks came after he presided over the swearing in of Hong Kong's new Chief Executive John Lee. Chan speaks with Yvonne Man on "Bloomberg Daybreak: Europe."
