Largest cryptocurrencies drop on Cardano, Ethereum declines

All of the largest cryptocurrencies were down during morning trading on Wednesday, with Cardano seeing the biggest move, falling 4.83% to 35 cents.

Ethereum dropped 3.97% to $1,535.99, and Dogecoin dropped 3.86% to 8 cents.

Polkadot dropped 3.86% to $6.16 on Wednesday, while Uniswap shed 2.55% to $6.30 and Ripple fell 2.85% to 40 cents.

Bitcoin and Litecoin fell 2.03% to $22,434.25 and 1.61% to $86.60

Bitcoin Cash posted the smallest drop with a 0.75% decline to $129.09.

In crypto-related company news, shares of Coinbase Global Inc. fell 7.24% to $49.68, while MicroStrategy Inc. dropped 5.50% to $233.89. Riot Platforms Inc. shares fell 6.68% to $5.73, and shares of Marathon Digital Holdings Inc. dropped 9.38% to $7.98.

Overstock.com Inc. shed 3.67% to $20.98, while Block Inc. declined 6.98% to $75.15 and Tesla Inc. fell 3.49% to $138.88.

PayPal Holdings Inc. shed 2.51% to $77.58, and Ebang International Holdings Inc. shares declined 5.17% to $8.49. NVIDIA Corp. fell 1.98% to $188.83, and Advanced Micro Devices Inc. fell 2.73% to $72.66.

In the fund space, blockchain-focused Amplify Transformational Data Sharing ETF shed 3.15% to $18.12. The Bitwise Crypto Industry Innovators ETF which is focused on pure-play crypto companies, dropped 4.95% to $5.28. Grayscale Bitcoin Trust which tracks the Bitcoin market price, declined 3.47% to $11.56.
