Maya Angelou to appear on new quarters as U.S. Mint launches American Women series
Americans will soon see a U.S. quarter featuring noted poet, author and social activist Maya Angelou. The quarter is part of the U.S. Mint's American Women Quarters Program, which celebrates the contributions of women throughout the history of the United States.
