Man convicted of 1978 murder up for parole again
For Mark Mahone, the pain of losing his sister still lingers, after she was murdered on Nov. 27, 1978. Police said Lonni was stabbed to death. Her body was found one week later, two houses down from her home, dumped in a backyard well. Now, her murderer is up for parole -- again -- and her family is weary of having to make their case over and over for why he should remain behind bars.
