The Pfizer plant in Rouses Point, which once employed over 1,200 people, has been sold.

New York City-based ERS Investments has confirmed to NBC5 News that it bought the site.

Pfizer shut down the location in December 2017.

The pharmaceutical company was once the village's largest employer.

There's no word on what the buyer plans to do with the property.
