    neighborhood, there could be subtle signs that your area is
    gentrifying.
    
  
  Some of the signs are cosmetic. For example, roads might be
  repaved, apartments might be renovated, and stop signs might be
  replaced with traffic lights.

    restaurants, art galleries, and bars.
