Construction has kicked off on another Frisco rental community.

A project of Toll Brothers Apartment Living, the 357-unit Remy apartments are being built in the Frisco Square development at the southeast corner of the Dallas North Tollway and Main Street.

The five-story rental project at the northeast corner of Blairview and Grace streets includes more than 416,000 square feet and is being built by contractor KWA Construction.

Scheduled to open in early 2024, the Remy apartments were designed by HEDK Architects. The project includes a rooftop deck, a hammock garden, lounge, library, fitness center, co-working space and a resort-style pool and indoor pool lounge.

“The sophisticated elements and amenities of the stunning Remy apartments are a fitting representation of Toll Brothers Apartment Living’s continued expansion in the region,” Brian Webster, president of KWA Construction, said in a statement.

The Remy apartments are Toll Brothers’ second such project in Frisco Square. The Pennsylvania-based homebuilder recently sold its 258-unit Kilby apartments that were constructed in partnership with Japan-based Daiwa House Group.

The property sold to Chicago-based Equity Residential.

Toll Brothers also has new rental communities in Dallas’ Oak Lawn district and in West Dallas.

Frisco Square is a 147-acre mixed-use project that includes retail, apartments, offices, medical facilities and Frisco’s municipal center.

Frisco has seen a flurry of recent apartment starts. And throughout North Texas, more than 42,000 new rental units are being built.
