UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — It is not every day that the Upper West Side gets a new public park, but that's exactly what residents got with the recently opened Waterline Square Park.

The park is located next to the Waterline Square residential complex at 10 Riverside Boulevard, near West 60th Street.

The new green space, designed by landscape architecture firm Matthew Nielsen Landscape Architects, is 2.6-acres that features sculpture fountains, lawns, walkways, and a fully equipped children's playground.

Live music by Grammy-nominated artists and yoga classes has already taken place within the space. The park's developers GID Development Group is also working on a series of programming for the winter.

You can find out more about the Waterline Square Park on its website.
